Bate vântul, bate

Bate vântul, bate
ceasurile numărate,
şi-oglindeşte ziua toată
într-un ceas rotund de piatră.

Bate vântul, bate,
piatra ruptă-n jumătate,
ca femeie şi bărbat,
pusă-n lume într-un leat.

Să se ştie, să cunoască,
dulce parte femeiască,
partea vântului bărbat
ce-a venit şi n-a plecat.

It is blowing wind

It is blowing wind, blowing,
all the hours and their string,
and it mirrors the day match
in a stone and round watch.

It is blowing wind, blowing,
a stone split into yang and ying,
as a man set in the world
with his woman, by the same word.

To be known, to be understood
the sweet part of the womanly mood,
and the part of the man as a wind
remained with her, in the time grind.
